The Australian and New Zealand release dates for Brooklyn Nine-Nine have recently been announced via Netflix’s Twitter account.
After having to wait for the release on Netflix for more than a month, Australian fans have been hyped for the official release of the series on Netflix for a long time. The series has released in the US for quite some time, but from the recent twitter post fans have found out that the newest season will air on January 11 in Australia and January 13 in New Zealand.
The tweet that was posted on the @NetflixANZ account said, “We’re cool, cool, cool, cool, cool for the summer, no doubt, no doubt, no doubt. @nbcbrooklyn99 season six is coming to Netflix on January 11 (AUS) and January 13 (NZ)”
After a rollercoaster day back in May 2019, fans were thinking the show would never come back, after FOX dropped the show from its channels, 31 hours later though, NBC came riding over the mountain in it’s gleaming white armour, announcing to the world that it would be picking the show up and renewing it for a seventh AND eight-season. That’s also thanks to the cast members who encouraged fans to make some noise for their favourite cop comedy and convincing NBC to save the day.
One fan favourite you might miss a couple of episodes into the season is Gina Linetti, played by Chelsea Peretti. The actress revealed she would be leaving the series halfway through the season, but fear, not as she has assured fans “that doesn’t mean I won’t ever be back”
