The long-awaited second season to Sex Education is out now and we are READY to laugh, cry and learn more about sex.
Last week we saw the official trailer that shows Otis’s mother on stage at school announcing that she is there to have an open conversation about sex, the thing every teenager wants…
In later scenes, we see students approach Otis talking about their “issues” however he seems pretty adamant that the therapy clinic we saw set up in the first season is closed – a likely story.
The show has received massive praise for bringing intimate issues to the foreground of the story line, something Netflix never shy away from. The first season got 91% on Rotten Tomatoes and was the seventh most streamed show of 2019. You can read who else made this list here.
But what else might we see? According to The Tab, it’s been revealed that Eric also gets involved with the clinic, judging by the trailer he also gets himself VERY involved with a French exchange student.
Some lucky people even saw it early like The Independent who summed up the show in one beautiful sentence “The show manages to make even its more explicit material seem sweet and charming rather than gross or prurient”. I’m not sure why this makes me so excited to watch it.
But let’s be honest we all just want to know what’s going to happen with Maeve and Otis because if they don’t fall in love and live happy ever after, I WILL CRY.
