At the end of last week, we saw a new teaser trailer released on Netflix’s YouTube, that revealed a huge reveal. With it came another, more discreet reveal from a former Game of Thrones alum.

David Harbour’s, Chief Hopper was revealed to be still associated with the show as he was in the snowy Russian heights, working on a train track. Surrounded by Russian soldiers, Hopper took off his Ushanka and revealed that sweet chrome dome to the world.

Check out the trailer here.

So far it’s unknown to us, why he’s working in the snow in Russian, about 4600 miles away from Hawkins. Which is to be expected as the show is set to release at some point in 2021, but it does look like Hopper isn’t doing too well and he might be some prisoner of some sort. This alone was some big news but another familiar face to some people in the fantasy series world will be one of the Russian guards looking over their tireless “workers”.

Around 27 seconds into the new teaser, you can see one moustachioed guard patrolling and looking over the men under his care. This gentleman is the Game of Thrones star, but you might not recognise him without his long hair. Tom Wlaschiha shares the same hard to pronounce kind of name as his character from Game of Thrones, Jaqen H’ghar.

Not much information about Wlaschiha’s character has been given. How big of a part will he play in the Stranger Things story, and will he help Hopper, or hinder him? Apart from us knowing he is in the show, the only other part we do know, or have a very good idea about is that he is some sort of Russian guard. Playing Jaqen H’ghar in GoT, Wlaschiha is used to playing the badass guys as he was part of the religious assassins called The Faceless Men in Game of Thrones.
