Queer Eye Renewed By Netflix For Season 6

Fans of the popular Netflix shows, Queer Eye can expect to see another season coming soon. As season 5 is heading to premiere, Variety confirms Queer Eye has been renewed for Season 6 on Netflix.

Antoni, Karamo, Tan, Bobby and Jonathan, also known as the Fab Five, will be returning for another season of the 2000’s hit show of the similar name. The reboot of the wildly popular Netflix series grew massively in recent years after it was cancelled originally in 2005.

Season 5, premiering soon on Netflix, is set in Philidelphia. Previously, the Fab Five have been to states like Georgia and Missouri, Season 6 of Queer Eye will take them south, Austin, Texas. Netflix have released a short description for the renewal and have said, there, they’ll “scour the prairie in a search for a whole new roster of heroes in need of a little TLC.

The show will continue to impact lives with Antoni on Food, Karamo tackling Culture, Tan with fashion, Bobby changing their interior design and Jonothan changing their grooming habits. Unlike the original Queer Eye for the Straight Guy that aired in 2005 on Bravo, this Netflix reboot focuses on diversity, transforming individuals of all gender and identities.

David George, Adam Sher, David Eilenberg, Jordana Hochman and Mark Bracero are executive producers for ITV Entertainment working on Queer Eye. Executive Producers for Queer Eye itself are David Collins, Michael Williams and Rob Eric for Scout Productions. Jennifer Lane is the showrunner and executive producer.
