To say we’ve all been obsessed with Netflix’s smash hit Tiger King would be the understatement of 2020. But with so many unanswered questions, and tons of us wanting just a little bit more, Netflix has truly pleased us with it’s latest announcement. A brand new episode has been announced by the streaming service. And we don’t have to wait long. Get the popcorn ready for round 2 this Sunday!

Jeff Lowe revealed there would be an extra episode, but we didn’t realize it would be happening this soon! The new episode will feature Community star Joel McHale as the host, with some of our favorite people coming back. The aftershow ‘The Tiger King and I’ will include interviews we haven’t seen yet. This will include Erick Cowie, John Reinke, Joshua Dial, and Saff. We’re hoping there are more talks about how Saff sadly lost her arm!

Will Carole return?

The Tiger King and I is just one of many additional episodes that look to be in the pipeline. Everyone is still hooked with the docuseries, with each episode more shocking than ever. What seemed to intrigue viewers most is the rivalry between Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin. Sadly though, it seems we won’t be seeing the enemies reunite anytime soon. Baskin has recently spoken out, as she no longer wants to be a part of the show, stating she would not participate if she was asked. But with news that a documentary series dedicated solely to the disappearance of Baskin’s ex-husband Don, it looks like she may not be best pleased!

Exotic and Baskin won’t appear in the extra episode, as eccentric Doc Antle doesn’t seem to be a part of the aftershow either. Jeff Lowe and his wife Lauren will be, causing for great TV as the pair will discuss their journey since Exotic faces jail time.

The documentary is a Netflix smash!

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness divided viewers entirely. But that doesn’t seem to stop people from watching, as the phenomenon has now broken records, surpassing Stranger Things rating. With an additional episode coming out way on April 12th, the impact of the docuseries looks set to continue. The bonkers show is really entertaining us while we all stay indoors!
