Netflix Spoils Drag Race All Stars 5 With Winner Thumbnail

UK Fans have gone to every extreme to hide from spoilers of All-Stars 5 however nothing could prepare them for Netflix themselves giving away the winner before they’ve even pressed play.

In what seems like an error the streaming platform has spoiled the result by setting the final episode thumbnail with a picture of the winning queen being crowned. WHY NETFLIX?!

When viewers clicked to watch they were greeted by a photo of the winner holding her sceptre and celebrating her big win, something no true fan wants to see BEFORE they have even got comfy to watch the season final. The same image was also used on the episode list, THERE WAS SO ESCAPE!

It’s safe to say that fans are furious, as most took to Twitter to vent…

But let’s be honest, we’ve come to expect this type of horror from 2020.

The show is aired on VH1 in the USA, before dropping at 8am the following morning on Netflix for the UK and Ireland audience. Maybe this was just a big prank on UK fans? If so it was a HORRIBLE ONE.

The final episode saw the three remaining queens write their own verse for RuPaul’s song Clap Back!, as well as learning full songs choreography from All Stars 2 judge and all-round legend Todrick Hall.

You can stream the show in full on Netflix right now, but you might want to close your eyes until the show starts.
