Adam Sandler’s new comedy has been announced so get excited. Because he’s back doing what he does best in his newest comedy heading to Netflix. The actor has been lined up to do a number of movies with the streaming service, and Hubie Halloween is the latest heading our way. So not only are we excited to see Sandler back in our lives, but Halloween is officially coming!

The spooky comedy is reuniting our favourite Sandler alumni. As fans know, the actor loves working with old pals, so a few familiar faces will be appearing in the movie. Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider and Kevin James will all have roles in the film. Hubie Halloween also reunites him with director Steven Brill, as the pair worked together on smash hits Little Nicky and Mr Deeds. There’s also some huge stars appearing in the movie…

Goodfella’s Ray Liotta, Stranger Thing’s Noah Schnapp and Shaquille O’Neal will also be starring in the movie. This seems like the craziest cast – and we love it. Sandler plays Hubie Dubois, who ends up being part of a murder case on Halloween night. The synopsis describes Hubie as so: “Despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts (and its legendary Halloween celebration), Hubie is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike”. Julie Bowen also stars as Hubie’s love interest. We have no clue what is going to happen but we are already very excited!

Adam Sandler recently celebrated his 54th birthday, causing Twitter to go into meltdown as they discussed their favorite movie of his. The poll highlighted that The Waterboy, The Longest Yard, Grown Ups and Happy Gilmore were the public’s all time favorite. Happy Gilmore even snapped up 51% of the vote! Could Hubie Halloween become one of Sandler’s greatest films? Only time will tell, October 7th it should be heading to the platform!
