Yes, you read that right. We had a taste of a reunion earlier in the year when the Parks & Rec cast reunited for a coronavirus charity special. And now the cast is coming back together once again, with another virtual interaction happening this week, yay!
The cast of the much-loved sitcom is reuniting again for a special event to benefit the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. The Parks and Recreation cast, including Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Adam Scott, Aubrey Plaza, Retta and Jim O’Heir are participating with the creator Michael Schur for a ‘town hall’ event. We can’t believe our luck, two reunions in one year?!
The cast are back together in an attempt to assist Democrats in the upcoming election. The Parks and Rec cast are joining the likes of The Princess Bride Cast, as the Wisconsin Democratic party has sponsored two reunions to help along with the upcoming presidential election between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. The events will be live streamed this week, so get excited to see some of your favorite casts back again!
The event hopes to raise money, as people can donate to the live-stream once it’s running. The event titles “A Parks and Rec Town Hall” will also have special guests appearing. Aubrey Plaza announced the news on her Instagram, where fans can enjoy seeing their favorite cast back again by donating. Plaza posted: “Chip in ANY amount at the link in bio to get access to the full event”. We’re sad that Chris Pratt won’t be part of the line up though!
Not only did the Parks and Rec cast raise millions of dollare dor the coronavirus relief efforts, and are now helping the democratic party. But there has also been talks for another season to be created, bringing the popular comedy back after 5 years. Say what?!
