If you love YOU then we have some exciting news for the next season! According to an announcement made by Netflix via Twitter, two new characters will be joining the cast of YOU and they’ll be close friends with Love and Joe in their new life.
In a Tweet made by Netflix, they said “Fresh blood joining You Season 3: Shalita Grant will play Sherry, a ‘Mom-fluencer’ who appears down to earth, but is actually a mean girl who only pretends to welcome Love into her social circle. Travis VanWinkle will play the wealthy Cary, who invites Joe into his inner circle.”
You might recognise Shalita Grant – She plays NCIS Special Agent Sonja Percy on NCIS: New Orleans and was also part of Santa Clarita Diet before it was canceled. Travis Van Winkle however is an actor and producer who is also best known for his part on Friday the 13th. Sounds like we’re in for a treat with these two! But what else do we already know?
Sadly because of COVID filming has been massively delayed and is due to start next month and go on until late April. The new release date is yet to be confirmed, I think 2021 is going to be a very poor year for TV with release dates being pushed to 2022 for most of Netflix originals.
“Joe Goldberg is done with cities”
“Joe Goldberg is back. And he’s going to start a family–even if it kills him. He’s saying hello to nature, to simple pleasures on a cozy island in the Pacific Northwest. For the first time in a long time, he can just breathe.”
“He gets a job at the local library–he does know a thing or two about books–and that’s where he meets her: Mary Kay DiMarco. Librarian. Joe won’t meddle, he will not obsess. He’ll win her the old fashioned way . . . by providing a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand. Over time, they’ll both heal their wounds and begin their happily ever after in this sleepy town.”
I guess we can only wait and see what happens in Joe’s new life. And what happens with the new cast that join YOU. Want to the latest Netflix news and memes? Like our new Facebook page for more.
