Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Brooklyn Nine-Nine has provided us with years of entertainment. But what they do best is holiday episodes. From Halloween to Thanksgiving, what better way to get in the mood then binge all the B99 themed episodes. Enjoy!
Season 1 – Thanksgiving
“Amy hosts a Thanksgiving dinner at her apartment for everyone at the precinct, but it soon turns into a disaster”.
The first thanksgiving episode of the show, we truly fall in love with everyone all over again. Of course, we get to see Amy stress out as the precinct rock up to her apartment on one of the busiest days of the year. We love a good disastrous meal for our entertainment!
Season 2 – Lockdown
“The precinct goes into lockdown mode on Thanksgiving night, and Jake, who was left in charge, is confident in his ability to keep spirits high and avoid chaos. Amy is less confident, as things spiral out of control”.
It’s very rare that the 99 get a day off from work. As everyone tries to clock off at 12, a mysterious package drops from Charles bag. While this has happened before (and it ended up being baking soda), the precinct have to lockdown just be sure. With Jake in charge, what could possibly go wrong?!
Season 3 – Ava
“Jake entertains Terry’s pregnant wife, Sharon, until her water breaks sooner than expected and crisis ensues at the precinct”.
There seems to be a running theme with all of Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s thanksgiving episodes. And that is that they never go according to plan. Jake is in charge of looking after Terry’s wife Sharon. With her pregnancy ending a little earlier than expected, it’s down to Jake to step up. Not only that, but the precincts internet is down. Perfect.
Season 4 – Mr. Santiago
“Amy’s father, a former cop, comes to Thanksgiving dinner and Jake tries to impress him, leaving Charles on turkey duty. In the meantime, Holt helps Pimento come to terms with the fact that he can no longer be a police officer”.
An episode with Pimento just means one thing. And that is of course chaos. But that’s not the only issue the precinct deal with in this episode. Amy’s fathers comes for dinner, causing Jake to act in his usual way.
Season 5 – Two Turkeys
“Jake and Amy bring their parents together for Thanksgiving”.
The last of the list, Two Turkeys brings together Jake and Amy’s parents. Which of course spells bad news all round. Jake plans Parent’s-giving, with the couple understnding that their parents are very different people. But that seems like the understatement of the century…
